Oleochemical Agent
Role Description
Job Title - Oleochemical Agent
Living Fuels recovers a unique and patented bioliquid - known as LF100, from used cooking oil.
This bioliquid is predominately used as fuel within our own renewable power stations across the UK. However, we have recently received many enquiries from manufacturers within the oleochemical industry to purchase our product for use as a direct replacement for virgin vegetable oils.
AS LF100 is recovered 100% naturally, using neither chemicals nor heat it is a highly sustainable product; furthermore, as the oil has been ‘cooked’, the liquid is polymerised which can be seen as a distinct advantage within the oleochemical industry. LF100 is also very competitively priced against virgin oil.
We are looking to bring on board an experienced oleochemical agent to help grow this stream of our business. The channels we are looking to expand within are;
- Lubricants & greases
- Paints & varnishes
- Polyurethanes
- Spray foam insulation
- Soaps & Detergents
